Being treated differently, values that collide, and how to make things right after a mistake.
Most of the stories in this course have been misunderstandings: two people, two scripts, and nobody really wrong. But not everything is a misunderstanding. Sometimes people are treated unfairly because of where they come from. Sometimes values really do collide. And sometimes the person who got it wrong is you.
This module looks at these topics honestly, without lecturing. You’ll explore:
- bias, stereotypes and microaggressions, and how to respond to them
- what to do when values clash: what you’ll adapt, and what you won’t
- faux pas, apologies and repair
Some of these topics may touch on your own experiences. Take them at your own pace.
